Three men survive a plane crashes on an uncharted Pacific island, south of Tahiti. One falls in love with the the daughter of the tribe's leader, heiress to the throne after the death of her brother, who is as savage as her pet leopard. The others try to devise a plan to rob the tribe's gold.

In 1568, Saadi prince Abdelmalek is exiled from Morocco by his brothers, an event that is only the beginning of his adventures: fighting the Spanish Inquisition, taking part in the Battle of Lepanto, being incarcerated in Alicante prison, and assist in the Conquest of Tunis. Eventually, he returns to Morocco to fulfill his destiny.

Captain Jerry Crawford (Tom Keene) who, with his Mississippi Vollunteers, is stationed at Fort Escambria in 1817, is summoned to the aid of a frontier family which has suffered an attack at the hands of the warring Seminole Indians. While driving off the raiders, Jerry and his side-kick "Kentuck" (Budd Buster), come across a gun used by an Indian. It is of such quality that the soldiers suspect white renegades of supplying the weapons to the Seminoles. Bill Crawford (David Sharpe), Jerry's younger brother, while carrying a boatload of supplies and munitions to Fort Escambria, is stopped by Bill Holston (Robert Fiske), Provost Marshal for Don Salvador Dominguez (Carlos De Valdez'), in Florida, and his henchman Jenkins (Ray Bennett). Bill is tricked into crossing into Spanish territory while his cargo is seized. Bill is returned to Florida and sentenced to be shot at dawn.

After a long absense from the island, Chester Tuttle returns to Tahiti to find that little has changed. His large family, particularly his scheming Uncle Jonas, would rather dance and romance than earn a living. When Jonas loses the family plantation in a cockfight, Chester saves the day by towing in a large ship abandoned at sea and claiming the salvage. But opening a joint bank account in the name of the Tuttle clan may not have been a wise decision.

John and Henry come together to visit the island, John to meet an old family friend, and Henry to visit his mother's grave. Eighteen years before, Henry's family had lived on the island. He also brings Henry with him to visit a local woman who helped to keep an eye on him as a child. Tefla is ecstatic to see Henry again, and agrees to let John stay with her for a while, as he is taking a holiday.

In Africa, a deceased medical missionary's daughter in Africa carries on her father's work. Before long, she finds herself in danger from crooks and a local witch doctor.

Captain Maddocks will never be promoted beyond Captain because of a mistake that he made in the past. Lt. McQuade is a green rookie who is now under the command of the tough Captain and he does not seem to be able to do anything right. Lt. McQuade also has trouble with Tracey, but it will be the renegade Indians that will test him and teach him the importance of following orders.

On his way to a post as special adviser of the new parachute troops of the French Foreign Legion in Morocco, Paul Dumont meets the beautiful Helene on the ship. A romance ensues, but the two decide to part when Paul learns that Helene is the fiancée of his best friend and fellow officer Raoul. Raoul is wounded during an Arab attack and the wedding is postponed, and Helene and Paul are thrown together and find it impossible to hide their feelings. The meet in the tent of Hassan, a fortune teller, not knowing the tent is a storage place for arms and ammunition belonging to Addullah, an Arab leader determined to avenge the death of his brother Ben Ali.

The "Eleven Brooklyn Bombshells," a band led by Mickey Monroe ('Dennis O'Keefe (I)' ), are stranded in Tahiti at the time of the fall of France to the Nazis. Suzette "Suzie" Durand (Simone Simon). a French-American girl singing in a nightclub is consumed with a desire to go to the United States. Things go from bad to worse for the band,. and they are faced with the necessity of either taking a girl singer into the group,which they all regard as bad luck, or starving. The band insists that she be dropped as soon as they can earn enough to catch a bot home. But Mickey falls in love with Suzie, and smuggles her on board the ship.
